About the role

The Customer Service team provides a range of administrative and customer service support across a number of GLCHs reception points and key areas (excluding the General Practice/ Medical Clinic).  This includes:

  • Bairnsdale site
  • Lakes Entrance site including: Allied Health & Movement Therapies and Centrelink sub-agency
  • Nowa Nowa site
  • Bruthen site
  • Metung site
  • Client Record Management (electronic and paper based)
  • Organisation-wide telephony

We seek CSOs that are professional, friendly, efficient, compassionate and helpful. Comprehensive training and support will be provided with the gradual introduction to each of these areas

Duties

  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to GLCH clients, community members, service providers and staff.
  • Provide a first-class telephonist service.
  • Ensure that GLCH services are accessed through appropriate and timely referral procedures.
  • Make appointments and manage waiting lists / appointment schedules in a responsive and timely manner, in accordance with procedures.
  • Maintain electronic and other client information systems per the policies and procedures of GLCH. 
  • Retrieve and/or archive client records per GLCH process.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Manager that assist other areas of the business eg data management, typing, formatting, photocopying etc.

Skills & Experience 

For this role, the successful candidate may have a qualification in Business such as Certificate III or IV which would be well regarded, but not mandatory.
