    Gippsland Lakes Complete Health is one of rural Victoria’s largest community health organisations, employing over 500 staff and 300 volunteers to deliver comprehensive health and support services across East Gippsland.     About the role

    This position will work across multiple programs within the family services platform, with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of children and their families.

    The range of programs, funded by Department of Families Fairness & Housing’s (DFFH) include:

    • Early Help
    • Integrated Family Services
    • Family Preservation and Reunification Response
    • Children and Youth Groupwork
    • Other specialist interventions including Family Services Specialist Disability Practitioner and the Children with Complex Disabilities Support Needs Program.

    You will work collaboratively with DFFH Child Protection Unit, universal services and other internal and external services to support clients experiencing vulnerabilities in their parenting journey. The level of support may range from early intervention through to immediate and sustained engagement with services.

     

    Qualifications & Experience

    • A degree in Social Work or other equivalent qualification.
    • Experience working in Family Services, Family Violence and/or Child Protection.
